Nordiska 9’ Grand Piano Debuts with the Ghalib Ghallab Experience

Las Vegas, NV - Ghalib Ghallab is a very good musician. audiences with his energetic style of piano playing in the Terrazza Lounge at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Night after night, Ghalib takes to the stage to perform a classic blend of soft contemporary jazz, high-energy rhythm and blues and a mixture of other dynamic musical styles. On May 6, 2004, Ghalib arrived for a performance that would mark the start of a new era for his band. Awaiting him on stage was a custom finished, nine-foot, brilliant white, signature edition Nordiska Model 275 grand piano.

The stage, which is situated between the lounge and a large, heavily traveled corridor in the illustrious Las Vegas hotel and casino, was highlighted by the presence of the instrument. Ghalib’s signature, dressed in metallic gold, adorns the side of the Nordiska grand piano, adding to its visual impact. Passers-by often stop to admire the instrument and are immediately impressed by its sheer size, beauty and sound.

At 5:00 p.m., Ghalib and his trio took to the stage for an evening of entertainment and with the first chord that was struck, those in attendance, as well as Ghalib himself, were amazed by the beautiful tones that resonated from the new instrument. As he played through the first song, it was evident that Ghalib was impressed with the sound of the Nordiska. The tones were powerful, but not over dominating and as he finished the first song, a smile came across his face as he let out a triumphant, “Wow!”
